143 random .hair and .skin names
Change #1197 on 27 September added 200 domains. 143 of them follow one pattern: four random letters under the new .hair (79) or .skin (64) endings, like aobl.hair, axrx.hair, aqim.skin and cjgq.skin. On 4 November 2026, 135 of them existed without any MX record, 7 no longer existed, and 134 resolved to the same IPv4 address, 43.134.226.173. APNIC lists that range (43.134.224.0 to 43.134.255.255) under the network name ACEVILLEPTELTD-SG, country SG.
No MX doesn't mean no mail. When a domain has no MX record, sending servers try its A record instead (the "implicit MX" rule in RFC 5321). So a sign-up check that only asks "does this domain have an MX record?" waves these names through, while a list check catches them. That batch is why September has the highest share of listed domains without an MX record of the five months we cover: 148 of 495 (30%).

Burner domains, burner addresses
From the user's side, every domain here is just a burner email address waiting to be used once. That's fine for a newsletter or a coupon, and a bad idea for anything you'll need to recover. Why are there disposable domains ending in .hair and .skin?
DNS can't tell us who registered them. What it shows: on 27 September 2026 the list gained 79 random four-letter .hair names and 64 .skin names, such as aobl.hair and aqim.skin.
Can a domain with no MX record receive email?
Yes. If a domain has no MX record, mail servers fall back to its address (A) record, as the SMTP standard (RFC 5321) allows. 134 of the 143 .hair and .skin names pointed at the same address, 43.134.226.173, on 4 November 2026.
Will Volt Ghost's checker catch a September domain?
