We read every record through Cloudflare's public DNS-over-HTTPS resolver and looked the address up in the RIPE registry. emailfake.com, another listed temp mail site, also takes its mail through mx.add5000.com, and 211 listed domains point their MX at emailfake.com by name. DNS alone doesn't prove who operates any of these names, so we only report what the records show.

We matched each domain against the public Git history of the open-source disposable-email-domains project, which our disposable domains list is copied from. 316 of the 326 were added in 2026, most of them in a handful of changes titled "Add generator.email domains" (35 domains on 15 March and 27 on 17 June) or general batches from temp mail sources.

That pattern fits how a host like this works: new domains are bought and pointed at the server, people report them, and the list catches up weeks later. So a list check on its own misses this month's domains, while an MX check doesn't. The most common endings are .com (73), .top (22), .net (20), .site (20), .me (17), .store (17).
Blocking by mail server instead of by name
If you run a sign-up form, look up the MX record of each new domain once (our MX lookup does it in the browser) and treat generator.email as a temp mail signal. That covers domains bought yesterday. Keep the domain list too, because it also covers hosts you haven't seen. One example from this group is 365boxmail.com, whose name looks like Microsoft 365 but whose mail lands here.
