Is vomoto.com a Disposable Email Domain? Records Since 2015

Yes. vomoto.com is a disposable email domain, and an old one: it has been on the public disposable domains list since June 2015. When we checked it on 31 October 2026 it was still set up to receive mail.

We pulled these through Cloudflare's DNS-over-HTTPS service. The list date comes from the public Git history of the open-source disposable email domains list, where vomoto.com first appears in a 5 June 2015 change that added about 20 domains.

An eleven-year-old throwaway domain

Most temp mail domains are short-lived: they get added to block lists, lose their value, and are replaced. vomoto.com is unusual because it has been listed for more than eleven years and still publishes a working MX record. Two details stand out next to newer temp mail domains such as 24faw.com:

  • Its own mail host, and only one. Instead of pointing at a shared server under another name, vomoto.com receives on mail.vomoto.com, a single machine with no backup MX. If that server goes down, senders queue the message and retry rather than delivering elsewhere.
  • An SPF record with a placeholder address. 1.1.1.1 is the address of Cloudflare's public DNS resolver, which doesn't send email. With -all after it, the practical result is that every message claiming to come from @vomoto.com fails SPF. Receive-only setups often use a dummy address like this.

Age doesn't make a domain trustworthy for mail. A sign-up from a domain on the list for a decade is just as disposable as one added last week; it only means the domain has been reported, reviewed and kept.

Checking addresses like this yourself

Paste any address into our disposable email checker to see whether its domain is on the list, then run the domain through the MX lookup to see where its mail goes. The email host lookup names well-known providers from their MX records; a domain like vomoto.com that points only at its own one-off host won't match any of them, which is a hint in itself. For the bigger picture of what sites check and why lists are never complete, read how sites detect disposable email. If you need a throwaway inbox that's clearly labelled as one, Volt Ghost keeps its own domains on the same public list.

Questions

Is vomoto.com a temp mail domain?

Yes. It was added to the open-source disposable-email-domains list on 5 June 2015 and is still on it, so our checker flags any @vomoto.com address.

What is the MX record for vomoto.com?

One host, mail.vomoto.com at priority 10. On 31 October 2026 it resolved to a single IPv4 address in an OVH US range, with no backup server.

Why does vomoto.com's SPF record list 1.1.1.1?

1.1.1.1 is Cloudflare's public DNS resolver, not a mail server. Combined with -all, the record effectively says no real server sends mail as vomoto.com.

Is a vomoto.com address safe to use?

It works for a one-off code, but anyone who knows the address may be able to read the inbox, and it won't help you recover an account later. Use a real mailbox or an alias for anything that matters.
